The Misfits is a stylized third person shooter game with one thing in mind... Kill or be Killed. No Class Upgrades, No Exosuits, No problem. Take advantage of cover, crouch, jumping, sliding, weapon pickups, and good old-fashioned communication, to destroy the opposing team. This game is filled with headshots, 360 no-scopes, jumping parkour, explosions and thousands in stolen bags of cash.

 

Features

  • Eight uniquely themed arenas ranging from close quarters to sniper size maps, containing elevated sections, streamlined multiple paths and secondary routes to promote game play experience.

  • We have three player classes in this game with plans for future ability upgrades. Our Light, Medium and Heavy classes allow for multiple playing styles and tactical advantages for team oriented game play.

  • Watch the sunrise over the city skyline as you eliminate players during the day/night cycle.

  • Game modes include:

    • Contract Killers: 2 Team 10v10 TDM: Eliminate players for cash to gain bonuses. The higher you streak, the bigger the bounty is on your head.

    • Vendetta: 2 Team 5v5 round based TDM: Eliminate players for cash to gain bonuses. The higher you streak, the bigger the bounty is on your head, but be careful because you only have one live in this mode.

    • Smash & Grab: Team 5v5 round based Attack and Defend: Eliminate all defenders or plant the bomb at one of two safe points to win the round and eventually win a match.

    • Blood Bank: 10v10 Team Kill Confirmed/Capture the Flag: The object of this game mode is to kill enemies, pick up their cash and return the cash to one of the timed banks when they become available. The team with the most cash banked wins the match.

    • Cash Grab: 10v10 Team Capture The Flag: Grab randomly spawned cash bags and dropped cash from enemy kills and return it to your bank. The team with the most cash wins.

    • King Of The Bill: 10v10 Territories/Capture the Flag: Accumulate as much cash as you can at key objectives and deposit your cash at timed banks when they become available.

About Pigdog Games

Pig Dog Games is small indie startup comprised of 5 core members with 12+ years of combined development experience. We've shipped multiple titles for studios like Sony Online, Namco, Electronic Arts, and Rocketeer Games. Our focus is making AAA titles for PC, MAC and console.  We've worked for some of the biggest studios and have now decided to plant our own flag and build this small indie studio.

 

We've been working on this game for two years, remotely, after work hours, with zero budget and a tremendous amount of coffee. We'd love to start our own studio one day and quit our day jobs to work full-time on The Misfits.
